Il Poggio was an unexpected gem during my recent city break in Tuscany. Nestled in serene surroundings, it's an ideal escape for anyone looking to combine luxury with nature; the outdoor pool was refreshing after a day of exploring Pisa and Florence, both just a stone's throw away. I particularly loved the cozy rooms outfitted with modern amenities-a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV for those lazy evenings, and even a little kitchen for when the heart wanted something homemade. What elevated the experience was the charming atmosphere, complete with BBQ facilities in the beautiful garden, perfect for a casual dinner under the stars with friends. With pet-friendly amenities making my days more delightful, just knowing those friendly doggies were around added a touch of home to my stay. Il Poggio is a tranquil retreat, inviting guests to relax and savor the beauty of Tuscany, all while being just moments away from its tourist treasures.
